Chapter 4

TLC

This picture is taken from the dining room. The family room has a vaulted ceiling. There are large windows above for natural light and a fireplace/wood burning stove to the right surrounded by a stone wall and slate hearth. The house is heated by gas. We have two full baths, one upstairs and one on the main level. While most homes offer a 35 or 50 gallon water heater, we have a 75-gallon commercial grade water heater that can easily accommodate large groups without running out of hot water. Water and appliances are heated by gas as well. Unlike electric heat (which most homes in the area are heated by) gas heat makes for a warm house during the coldest of weather. Between the warm glow of the finished wood, the cozy casual furniture, the western ambiance and a wood fire, you can't help but melt away the frustrations of the everyday chaos left behind. Forest Haus offers you a great location, comfortable surroundings and a true mountain experience! The Boreas Pass sign??? Well it has a story that goes with it that I can not commit to writing! See Chapter 7 of the story. If you tell me yours...We'll tell you ours!
