This is the mountain where our home is located. This pictures was taken just down the road from our home. The mountains are a lot closer than they look. Our home sits 1000 vertical feet above the town of Breckenridge. We look across at the ski area. Our home is on the east side of Main Street and the ski area is on the west side of Main Street. From our door to the Peak 9 parking area (middle of town) is a 3.5-mile drive down the mountain (less than ½ mile as the crow flies). The ski area forms the backdrop behind the trees of our property line.
